Riccione & the surrounding areas
There are so many things to do during your Riccione holiday…
Inland and medieval villages
The Romagna inland offers a wealth of distinctive medieval villages that have preserved the magic of a time gone by, keeping it intact, and during the summer they are home to many arts and folk festivals
San Leo, San Marino, Saludecio, Gradara and Santarcangelo are just some of the most famous places, which hold castles, fortresses and narrow cobbled streets.
If you are a fan of legends and ghost stories, on the other hand, you cannot miss the chance to visit Montebello castle, which is haunted by the ghost of Azzurrina.
Sports and outdoor activities
The hills surrounding Riccione are especially popular with cycle tourists and mountain biking fans.
Using the place where you will spend your holiday as a starting point, you will actually find many trails and routes that are suitable for beginners, as well as more expert cyclists: Marecchia Valley, Rimini-Santarcangelo-Verucchio and Montefiore.
Golf lovers, on the other hand, will find the Riviera Golf Resort – with its 18 Championship and 9 Executive holes and an elegant and well-equipped wellness centre – just 12 km from Hotel Gaudia.
Even the littlest ones will find the proper dose of entertainment in Riccione!
In addition to the many activities organised on the beach by our entertainment team, by leaving your car conveniently parked at the hotel and hopping on public transport, you can get to the Aquafan and Oltremare water parks. Continuing on towards Ravenna, you will also find the Italia in Miniatura theme park and Mirabilandia amusement park.
